South Pacific Motorcycle in Albany, OR is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly sales and customer service representative for our motorsports apparel and safety gear department as well as occasional help with Left Coast Motorsports!

Do you ride motorcycles, atvs or side by sides?

Service Writer

South Pacific Tire Pros is seeking a motivated Service Advisor for a full time position.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for scheduling service appointments, greeting customers and verifying customer information. Writing repair orders and documenting customer visits. In addition, this position will verify warranty coverage, proper parts and labor estimates -- explaining needed repairs/service to customers, and informing them of estimated completion times. 
This position will work closely with the supervisor and technicians, and will be responsible for achieving sales goals as well as customer satisfaction and retention.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills
Leadership and teamwork skills
2 or more years of service advising experience
Basic mechanical knowledge
Typing skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
Must be reliable, have valid driver's license, and a good driving record
Must pass a drug-screening test 

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of computer systems --PC and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of DMS/DealerTrack Arkona

This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm, and will require one shift every third Saturday with the exchange of having the following Monday off. We offer a base pay with competitive percentage bonuses.

Automotive Shop Assistant and Tire Technician

We are looking for someone who is a tire technician and a shop assistant all in one. Must have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. Communicate with service writers, completing delegated work as needed, such as brakes, alignments, and light repairs. We are a family owned shop and we take pride in our shop and our employees. You will be responsible for all aspects of tire, lube and mechanic related services. 

Duties include but are not limited to:
-Dismounting and mounting any type of tire
-Determining repairable tire conditions and making such repairs
-Inflation of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
-Clean and maintain service equipment
-Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board 
service equipment.
-Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected. 
-Must be able to complete basic tasks such as greasing and fluid checks independently and assist 
our lead mechanics in more complex work. 
-Prior experience working on vehicles or equipment 
-Perform basic maintenance services on vehicles; includes repetitive mechanical tasks.
-Inspect, replenish, drain and fill vehicle fluids and lubricants.
-Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance and basic repairs including brakes and tire replacements,
balance, and rotations.
-Document work and hours per company policies and procedures

-At least 2 years of relevant service experience is preferred.
-Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. 
-Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. 
-Must be a self-starter, willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without 
direct supervision. 
-Good oral and written communication ability. 
-Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification,
and criminal history and be able to pass a drug test. 
-Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
